Four main churches are present in Glenburn today. Paisley St George’s (Glenburn Parish), St Peters’ RC, Glenburn Baptists and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first church in the community was established in the Nethercraigs School in the 1880s, established as a mission church by Paisley Abbey, and it is from that congregation of that Paisley St George’s is partly descended today.
